Keep in mind that thanks to Mars, your career will light up brilliantly from September 22 to November 4, and it will be a time for you to receive praise, applause, and very possibly a promotion or new job offer. During that period, it will be harder to break free for time off. Opportunities will be too delicious to miss at work! See how you feel.
Now let’s turn to the August 22 new moon, which will be the first of two new moons in Virgo in a row, and they will appear four weeks apart. Both new moons will bring more emphasis to your financials. Uranus will be in hard angle to new moon and Sun at the August 22 new moon, so you may get an unexpected expense or bill from a source you forgot about. Be sure to keep an eye on your investments—this is not the month (nor is September) to take financial risks. Stick to tried and true investments, and listen to the advice of your financial advisor.
This month’s new moon will fall at 0 degrees Virgo, and next month’s new moon will appear in Virgo at 29 degrees. While each will be very different new moons in outlook, both are calling attention to the same topic—your eighth house of other people’s money. This month brings a surprise about money, but not the kind you might want to hear. For example, if you are trying to get a final settlement in a divorce, talks this month may become unexpectedly contentious. If so, break the chain and suggest you meet again next month. You will have better aspects at the new moon solar eclipse September 21, and although not a piece of cake, you’ll be able to negotiate more calmly without the surprises tactics that would come just after the August 22 new moon.
