Now let’s move to August 12 when Venus will meet with Jupiter (depending on your time zone, this meeting could occur on August 11). These two benefic planets meet once a year and always meet in a different sign. The last time Jupiter and Venus met in Cancer was on June 3, 2002, and that was 23 years ago! This year Venus and Jupiter will meet in your house of work assignments, so you may have just finished up an important project. You could receive applause and congratulations from VIPs, coworkers, and subordinates for work well done—all will agree, you have hit a home run! Circle August 12 on your calendar, and put a big star on it.
Now we come to the new moon of August 22 in Virgo, 0 degrees. This will be the first of two consecutive new moons in Virgo four weeks apart. This is rare. The next one will arrive on September 21 in Virgo at 29 degrees. The September new moon will also be a powerful solar eclipse. Solar eclipses take the strength of an already powerful new moon and multiply it by three. Wow.
Both new moons will energize your eighth house of other people’s money. You may be applying for a mortgage, university financial aid, or a student loan, sending in an application to a government program for aid, pitching an idea to a venture capitalist, sending your insurance company a claim, negotiating an advance for your soon-to-be-published book, or discussing better benefits with your company, now that you are being promoted. Those are just some of many possibilities. (You might notice that this part of your chart rules the kind of money that comes in from outside of your regular salary.)
